Our homeschool co-op has absolutely loved this curriculum! I am continuously impressed at how much the children are learning, and how much they retain from week to week. The materials are beautiful and the workbooks are high-quality. The curriculum is set up such that a parent/teacher with little-to-no background in the subject is able to pick it up and present the lesson well. My 9 year old has already asked if we can keep going next year, as she really loves this class. Thank you for enriching our homeschool with this thoughtful, well-presented curriculum! It has been worth every penny!

Classical encounters is an inspiring, multifaceted program that my whole family enjoyed. Each week’s lessons engaged our senses and helped us encounter the rich beauty of the foundations of western music. The program was thorough, conveniently laid out, and easy to follow. This was a perfect addition to our home studies!

There is so much beautiful classical music that I want to listen to and share with my children. This program gives an organized and educational approach that I know will leave a long-lasting impression on my family. It's a fantastic way to find beautiful music that you might not otherwise have heard and learn all the history that goes along with it.

Sadie's Classical Encounters music program has benefited our family so much. My homeschooled kids range in age from 6 to 14 and we all learned so much from both the historical and musical components. My personal favorite was learning about Hildegard of Bingen. The art projects were a huge hit too! I highly recommend Sadie's program to all families looking to bring beautiful music and art into their homes.

Sadie has developed a beautiful curriculum for introducing children to classical music!  My children loved the polyphony coloring pages and I was impressed with the amount of history included in the guide.  We all enjoyed painting Notre Dame in watercolors while listening to Sadie's carefully curated selections.  The materials are beautifully formatted and easy to follow.  This is a sweet way to make memories with your children, and educational as well.

I am a long time homeschooling mother and I have learned not so spend money unnecessarily on wasted extra curriculum. But Classical Encounters The Story of Classical Music has been a wonderful addition to our Composer and Artist studies. It is easy to pull open and use in a flexible way and all the kids around the table enjoy it. It has helped me grow in my own musical knowledge as a mother. I'm so thankful for this resource!

My entire family loves this curriculum! It is beautiful and dynamic. It does a wonderful job of contextualizing the development of music into history and alongside its counterparts like architecture and philosophy. It is as much a pleasure for the adults as the children. Highly recommend this program!

I have used a variety of different guides in the past, but these are hands down my favorite. Why? Because because as a trained musician, Sadie invites us into her world. We aren’t simply listening to the music; we are appreciating the details she brings to our attention and understanding the how’s and the whys behind the music. We are becoming active participants with the music! All four of my boys would highly recommend these guides as well. They are a huge hit in our home and so easy to use. Keep creating!
